Through various immersive installations constructed from sustainable corrugated materials, UL demonstrates their role in the safety and security of everyday life – and how they are helping to build a more trustworthy world.

Three-dimensional vignettes representative of rooms in the home. Each vignette highlights areas where UL is involved in the world around us — such as IoT cybersecurity, GREENGUARD, sustainable buildings, construction materials or fire safety.

Enamel pins

Multiple different enamel pins that represent UL’s work in safety, security and sustainability are attached to the wall within the display. Each pin is representative of products in that vignette or contain a campaign message. Pins are dispersed on displays around course and create a scavenger hunt to collect them all or changed out daily to keep attendees engaged. Tournament-goers are asked to post a selfie wearing their pins and answer the question, "What is trust to you?" A Pin Patrol and video crew out on course will look for people wearing their pins and awards them prizes. Footage and live social media feed are shared to existing tournament displays.
